About Theodore
Hello! I am Theodore, a student at Hamilton College, and I am excited to work with you on whatever aspect of communications that you are interested in!
In High School, I was the #1 ranked Extemporanious Speaker in the country by the National Speech and Debate Association and won the California State Championship. Since then, I have been working with students across the country to refine their communication skills and helping those interested in competition make it to the final rounds of national circuit competitions and compete for national titles.

As a tutor specializing in a wide array of communications, my lessons are tailored to the specific subfields (writing, rhetoric, and competitive speech) that each student is interested in. For writing sessions (whether for speeches or essays), I assist students in developing their ideas and building a solid structure, followed by revising and editing their work. In rhetoric lessons, we put that writing into practice, and I focus on finetuning its presentation. For students involved in competitive speech, I have them begin with a speech, followed by a review of my comments and targeted drills to refine their skills.
My lessons suit any student looking to improve their communication skills. I love helping everyone preparing for competitive speech events, students aiming to bolster their academic writing, or anyone looking to boost their public speaking abilities.
