About Nicholas
LA —> Seattle transplant, former accountant with a love for tutoring. I’d call myself a lifelong learner, and in my experience, teaching and learning are rarely mutually exclusive. I live with my two cats, and in my free time, I try to get out and enjoy the PNW with my partner. I’ve completed a master’s in Measurement & Statistics at UW (we design standardized tests like the SAT) and am currently completing a PhD in Educational Psychology, also at UW.

I’m a multi-disciplinary STEM tutor with an education research background and a proven track record of improving student outcomes. We’ll keep things light and try to have fun on our way to finding the correct answer! I have experience working with neurodivergent students (ADHD, ASD, and others). Passionate about STEM learning and cultivating competence in my students. Most experienced with middle, high school, and university level students.

Nick was the first tutor I finally found who worked with me judgement free and taught complex concepts to me in such a digestible way. I never thought I’d ever be good at math and ended up acing my first stats course with his help. I’d highly recommend him due to the fact that he is so easy to talk to and his knowledge base is evidently very strong. I am a curious person and any question I asked no matter how silly it seemed to me was answered by him with the same enthusiasm and depth.
