About Norman
I'm Norman Prince, a former English professor and a master tutor with more than 10,000 hours of tutoring and three decades of teaching experience. Reach your potential by working one-to-one with a passionate, highly experienced educator.
I was an assistant professor of English at Skyline College, and I taught through Gonzaga University, Stanford University, Foothill-De Anza Community Colleges, and USC. My areas of expertise include Standardized Test Prep, Speed-Reading, Study and Learning Skills, Writing, Grammar, and Vocabulary. My clients have included students from middle school to adult levels. My programs are ideal for students, adults, and professionals.

I teach individuals and small groups to learn what they need to, based on their goals and strengths. All tutoring is personalized, with programs ranging from 6 hours to ongoing. All programs include exclusive guides that I have written and the best available books and materials. To determine your strengths, weaknesses and priorities, I provide self-assessments, questionnaires, and diagnostic tests. Some programs include anxiety reduction, concentration improvement, and nutritional preparation. I offer combined programs (e.g., speed-reading and test prep), always tailoring all work to meet the needs and goals of individual clients.

Details
Notice is required 48 hours in advance for rescheduling sessions, except in the event of an emergency. There is no refund or credit for sessions missed without 48 hours’ notice. You may make up missed sessions with payment for the additional session(s).
In case of clients’ major medical or other emergencies, the above policies regarding cancellation, refunds, and rescheduling may be forgiven. If a scheduled session is canceled due to a major emergency (e.g., earthquake), the remaining sessions may be temporarily postponed.
