Hi, I'm TC. I’m a former software engineer at Amazon and Morgan Stanley with a degree in Mathematics from UBC. I’ve helped students succeed in both computer science and math—whether they're trying to pass a course, prepare for interviews, or deepen their understanding for long-term growth. A typical lesson starts by identifying what you’re struggling with, then walking through the concepts step by step. I focus on clarity, problem breakdown, and real examples. For coding topics, I use live coding and whiteboarding to build intuition and confidence.
I hold a math degree from UBC and previously worked as a backend software engineer at Amazon and Morgan Stanley. My strengths include Java, data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, backend systems, and university-level math (like calculus, linear algebra, and discrete math).
️ I don’t tutor frontend university courses (e.g., React, UI frameworks).
