About Victor
My teaching journey began in middle school, when I helped a friend prepare for exams — and he passed. Afterward, he complimented me: “Do you want to be a professor?” I laughed and said, “No, why?” He replied, “Because you teach so well, you should be.” That moment stuck with me — not all professors are great teachers, and I realized I had a natural talent for helping others truly understand concepts. Living in a boarding school, I often finished my own lessons early and would roam the classroom, helping anyone who needed it. Teaching others actually strengthened my own understanding even more - far beyond post study. Highly recommended. I lose track of time when I teach — I never watch the clock wondering when the session will end. I love it, and that’s why I do it so well.

Hi, I’m Victor, a junior at a university in NJ, double majoring in Mathematics and Finance. I’ve been tutoring for over two years, helping students from high school through early college excel in Math, Calculus, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, and Economics.
Teaching Method & Techniques
My philosophy is simple: understand, don’t memorize. I teach concepts in a way that helps you truly grasp the “why” behind them — so even if you forget a formula during an exam, you’ll be able to recreate it from understanding.
I bring concepts to life with real-world examples, visual explanations, and even the history and logic behind formulas to make learning both engaging and memorable.
I believe you are the boss of your studies — I’m just your guide. During lessons, you hold the pen, you try the problems, and I guide your pen when you need direction. Mistakes are part of the process — they’re how real learning happens.
Typical Lesson Plan
Each session begins with a quick review of what you know, followed by a clear, structured explanation of new material. We’ll work through examples together, then you’ll apply what you’ve learned while I coach and correct in real time. Every lesson ends with a short recap and simple strategies to retain key ideas.
