About Victoria
Music has always been a major part of my life. I started with band and choir programs, then sought out the International Baccalaureate Higher Level Music Course, which led me to my studies at Dalhousie University where I received a Bachelor of Music. I am experienced in flute, as well as opera singing and musical theatre. In 2023, I completed the Suzuki Every Child Can course and the Suzuki Flute Book 1 course.

Most lessons follow the same general structure of warm-up, technique, and repertoire. The specificity of each component is determined by the unique needs of the student, such as rhythm, music literacy, intonation, agility, breath control, tone, phrasing, dynamics, musicality, and more. Repertoire is chosen by both instructor and student depending on the student’s goals. Lessons are for all levels, ranging from beginner to advanced.
