Flute lessons by experienced Conservatory trained professional flutist 50 yrs teaching experience.

I have worked with Fran for almost 25 years. She is a superb flutist and teacher. I have seen her perform and her technique and sound are amazing. My own skills have improved greatly under her tutelage. Fran also taught my daughter when she was 10 and 11 and Fran is just as good with children as she is adults. I cannot recommend her more highly.

I took flute lessons from Fran for several years before going to college. Taking lessons with her gave me the confidence to give more effortless performances. We worked on technique, articulation, tone, phrasing and more. By taking lessons with Fran, I had much more confidence in my playing - leading to my acceptance into Colorado All State Band and All State Orchestra in top chair positions. Fran is just as wonderful a person as she is a flute teacher and musician. Whether you've never played flute, or are an advanced player, Fran has so much to offer to excel in your playing. I cannot recommend Fran enough if you're looking to improve your flute playing!

I can say without a doubt I have never had a teacher as intuitive and kind as Fran. I’m a retired elementary teacher and I understand how important it is to meet students where they are and find the language they understand in order to learn. Fran is a natural teacher. She has high expectations, but cannot be more fun and gentle in her teaching. I’m a beginner and always feel respected. I always look forward to my next lesson. AND I like practicing because of her inspiration.

Fran structures your lessons exclusively for your skill level and objectives. She is exceptionally good at isolating performance problems and finding solutions to correct issues. She is a skilled communicator and listens closely to student’s understanding of the learning process. Love my lessons!

Fran is a very kind and encouraging instructor who excels in helping you learn what you need to work on through any level of flute playing. I have been a student of hers for years and always looking forward to our lessons. She has also always been flexible at helping me learn the flute and having wonderful at what I need to work at.
