About Valentina
I have 10 years of experience teaching flute and have successfully guided over 150 students, from beginners to advanced learners. I believe every student has unique musical potential, and my approach is tailored to their individual learning style and goals.
My lessons combine technical exercises for breath, tone, finger technique, and rhythm with creative activities like improvisation, ensemble work, and musical interpretation. I also integrate music theory, sight-reading, and performance preparation, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of music.
My teaching emphasises confidence, discipline, and a love for musical expression. By the end of my lessons, students not only improve technically but also experience the joy and satisfaction of playing the flute as a true art form.

I teach the flute using a methodology that combines adaptability, collaboration, and encouragement. Understanding each student’s learning style allows me to customise lessons that maximise engagement and effectiveness. Lessons are designed to suit the student’s pace, ensuring a balance between technical mastery and expressive playing.
Flexibility is central to my approach. I modify exercises, repertoire, and practice methods to suit the student’s goals and progress. Collaboration is encouraged through ensemble practice, duets, and group exercises, fostering musical communication, listening skills, and performance confidence. Positivity is at the heart of every lesson — students are praised for effort, guided through challenges, and inspired to enjoy the process of learning.
Beyond flute, I also teach music theory, ear training, rhythm development, and sight-reading, giving students a well-rounded musical education. My methodology helps students develop strong technical skills, artistic expression, and the confidence to perform, while instilling a lifelong love and appreciation for music.
