About Rose
I am an enthusiastic flute tutor with 11 years of experience, teaching High School, College, and adult students. I have had the privilege of teaching 150-200 students, guiding them from beginners to confident performers. My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and creative, helping students enjoy the learning process while mastering the flute.
One of the proudest moments in my career was mentoring a beginner student who had never performed before and seeing them play flawlessly at a school concert. I design lessons to suit each student’s pace and goals, combining technical exercises with expressive and creative practice. My aim is to make students feel confident, inspired, and motivated to continue learning and growing as musicians.

My flute teaching methodology focuses on clarity, practice, and personalised learning. I incorporate problem-solving into every lesson, guiding students to overcome challenges and develop independence. Integrity is at the heart of my teaching, promoting discipline, honesty, and respect. I maintain flexibility, adapting lessons to suit each student’s learning style, pace, and goals.
Along with flute, I teach related subjects such as music theory and fundamentals to build a strong foundation. My aim is to make every lesson enjoyable, effective, and tailored to the student, helping them grow technically, creatively, and personally.
