About Adele
I live in the US and English is my first language. When I was younger, moving from a French school, I struggled with English grammar and spelling. But I quickly overcame this setback and now it comes easily—it is second nature to me. I love writing, figuring out the perfect sentence structure to convey the right idea, and this all stems from reading and analytical skills. I have also completed GCSE level English and am currently doing the rigorous IB English Language and Literature course at higher level. I run the middle school debate team and guiding them and listening to their arguments has put me in a great position to tutor English.

Lessons will be different for everyone! Whether you are working on your pronunciation, literacy skills, or deeper analytical skills, we will work through every challenge and problem methodically so that it feels almost simple! Lessons are for all—beginners to fluent speakers. We will start by identifying your strong suits and weaknesses and work from there. I value hands on practice and learning, so for literacy and pronunciation skills, there will be plenty of slow (but crucial) practice. I also value pushing students (not too hard) but to their greatest potential. I am keeping lessons at a relatively low price because I believe that everybody deserves to have easy access to English and learning opportunities.
