About Lou
For the past 4 years I have worked for European airlines. I had the chance to live 1 year in Amsterdam working for an Irish company. I lived between the Netherlands, England and Ireland that year. This allowed me to develop my “British” English. 2 years followed in the service of the biggest English company. I took the Cambridge University Bulats test in 2019 (level C2) and have not stopped practicing English since. I took a literary course in high school and I was fortunate to have great teachers in English and literature. I graduated with honors and had good grades in French and English literature. This is why I think I have the necessary level to help students in English and in French / literature until the bac and even after.

I like to make sense of what I learn and teach. Making learning attractive is a priority for me to appeal to the intrinsic motivation of each student. I like to start with a small interview (in French) with the student to find out what he / she thinks is the cause of his / her difficulties or the reason why he / she thinks he / she needs private lessons, and to define together a reasonable goal to achieve. I offer: - training / simulation to prepare professional interviews in English. - conversation in English to improve oral expression. - studies of literary / artistic works that appeal to students in order to capture their interest and deepen their knowledge of Anglo-Saxon culture. - detailed and discussed corrections of homework / school tests that may have caused difficulties.
