About Isabel

I am a professional flamenco dancer with a degree in Dance Pedagogy from the Maria de Ávila Higher Conservatory of Dance.

There, I worked with renowned teachers such as Isabel Bayón, Rafaela Carrasco, David Coria, Florencia O'Ryan, and many other artists.

I am a soloist with the Ballet de Catalunya company, performing on various stages throughout Spain.
I also perform in flamenco tablaos in Barcelona.
In addition, I have appeared in film and music videos.

As a teacher, I have worked in diverse settings and with students of varying levels and interests. I have over five years of experience teaching in community centers and dance schools, where we prepare students for both private exams and entrance exams to the Institut de Catalunya.

About the lesson

If you want to delve into or improve your flamenco skills, let me guide you through the process!

For beginners, we'll overcome any fear of going out to dance:
- We'll learn the basic steps and rhythms of flamenco styles like tangos and bulerías, so characteristic of flamenco celebrations.
- We'll also prepare for the April Fair by dancing the four Sevillanas.
- Through all of this, we'll learn flamenco technique, allowing us to progress to the next levels while enjoying the art.

On the other hand, if you're already familiar with flamenco but want to take your knowledge further, we can work on:
- Tablao skills.
- Technique improvement.
- Preparation for conservatory entrance exams or tests.
- Choreography.

In any case, what I always try to convey is a love for dance and flamenco in a friendly environment with complete freedom of expression.
