I’ve previously had an aversion to writing essays, likely because I didn’t fully understand how to approach them or the context behind why we write them. After just one session with Lorraine, her clear and supportive tutoring unlocked a level of understanding that suddenly felt accessible. Lorraine taught our daughter for the 11+ and was just brilliant. Not only did she improve her academic ability across the board she was also fantastic at building confidence. Lorraine did a really good job of working with the specific exams for our local area and updated us with subject by subject progress by email after every class. She was really good at communicating and being flexible with timings. Compared to other tutors other families were using her lessons represented fantastic value for money.
