About Amy
I’m a first year student at Durham University where I study Mathematics. I achieved 4A* in my Alevels and 10A*s in my GCSEs. I really enjoy maths and the sciences and have experience in tutoring both.
Outside my study’s I enjoy music and am currently working towards Grade 8 in the flute.

From my own experience of GCSEs and AS levels I am able to provide personalised and effective tutoring to students of all ability. I am able to tailor each lesson to each student and ensure that they understand all aspects of the course. In the sciences and maths I have found that past paper questions are the most effective revision and verbally talking through the answer is key in understand. I encourage all students to ask as many questions as they need.
