About Grace
I have always strongly disliked the attitude 'it's too hard for me to learn, I'm not smart enough'. I will always believe that anyone can learn and properly understand a concept, regardless of whether they think they are academically able or not. Learning looks different for everyone, and I strongly believe that anyone can master a topic or a subject they find difficult. Everyone uses different learning techniques and ways of understanding concepts, and I enjoy helping others find the way in which they learn and revise best. I pride myself on my ability to explain difficult concepts to others in simpler terms. I have experience in helping peers with certain topics and I know how to break down what a teacher or a textbook says into more understandable, digestible words. Just finished my A-levels in Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Music.

Lessons are very much focused on what the student would like support with. Before each lesson, I ask them to notify me which topic they would like to work on. In the beginning of the lesson, we break down the topic, and make a checklist of what the student is not feeling too confident on. By the end, we will review and see how confident the student is on each bullet point of the checklist. I may set homework, a few consolidation questions just to check knowledge. Lessons are usually 1 hour long.
