About Shreya
I am a first-year Law student at the University of York with a genuine passion for English Literature and helping others succeed academically. Studying English taught me not only how to analyse texts and write compelling essays, but also how rewarding it is to develop confidence in your own ideas. I decided to become a tutor because I know the difference that supportive, one-to-one guidance can make. I enjoy helping students build their skills, overcome challenges, and realise their potential. Seeing a student gain confidence and achieve results they are proud of is what motivates me, and I strive to make every lesson engaging, encouraging, and focused on their individual goals.

Having recently achieved an A* in A-Level English Literature and Grade 9 in GCSE English before beginning my Law degree at the University of York, I understand both the demands of the current exam specifications and the pressure students can feel. My aim is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where you feel confident asking questions, developing your ideas, and improving your analytical and essay-writing skills. Whether you're aiming to boost your confidence, improve your grades, or achieve the highest marks, I'll provide personalised guidance, effective revision strategies, and constructive feedback to help you reach your goals.
