About Sophie
I am a first year engineering student. I studied higher level math and physics for the leaving cert and got a H1 in both subjects. I understand that these subjects took up a lot more time to study for than other subjects. I would like to help secondary school students with these subjects as I understand how tough they can be. I also find that teaching others is a good way to learn myself and feel it would help my engineering degree

hello! I am enthusiastic about math and physics and want to help secondary school students get a better understanding of these subjects. For many leaving cert subjects you can memorize essays, facts etc. This is not the case for math and physics; you must understand where to apply each technique/method and why you apply it. I will work with my student to help them break down different topics into more understandable terms as I believe this helps students to remember the different techniques when needed.
