About Darren
My name is Darren and I am a 19-year-old starting university in September. I am going to study Actuarial Science, which is a mathematics-heavy course. I got 5 As on both my National 5 and my Higher with 97% and 93% respectively in mathematics. So maths is my strongest subject.
I tutored one of my cousins who was doing National 5 last year. We both really enjoyed it and he got an A. This year I tutored another one of my cousins who was doing Highers and I am confident she is going to get an A. I am patient and really enjoy tutoring mostly because of the satisfaction I get when I help a student to understand something.

I can work in person or online at the preferred pace of the student. I was recently in school so I will mostly be sharing tips that made it easy for me to grasp things and carried me through exams. My idea is I explain a concept to the student, work through the general questions surrounding it and then finish it off with past paper questions.
