About Robert
I first got into tutoring at 16, when I taught a classmate physics. I quickly found that I really enjoyed those “ah-ha” moments, when a concept finally clicks for someone. There’s something so rewarding about seeing that shift in understanding. Since then, I’ve been tutoring on and off over the years, helping students with everything from trivial questions to grasping tricky concepts. My name is Rob, I am 23 years old and from the UK. I arrived in Melbourne a month ago and I aim to stay here for 6 months before moving on with my travels. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals!

I believe the most important aspect of tutoring is building a positive relationship between tutor and tutee. I strive to create a relaxed, supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking any questions.
My approach is problem-based and practice-focused, allowing students to actively engage with the material while I diagnose and address any gaps in understanding.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, but I can adjust the duration depending on the student’s needs and goals.
I have two years of tutoring experience in the UK and want to bring my skills to Melbourne! My lessons aimed at HSC and VCE students.
