About Elena
I graduated last year from the University of Oxford with a degree in Geography (a subject I am still super passionate about!). Now I have started a master's in Public Policy and Global Affairs at UBC. I love learning about the world and how it works, from languages to art to forms of governance. In the last few years I have been learning French and Italian, so I know very well how challenging and daunting learning a new language can be! I am very passionate about education and I have done a lot of tutoring in the past with the MyTutor platform and with the company Oxford Tutors. I am looking forward to continuing tutoring throughout my graduate degree!

My lessons are targeted at learners at any level! I encourage anyone who is thinking about learning Spanish to give it a go and for more advanced learners to continue perfecting their skills. I am a native speaker but in addition to this, I also have a higher level of Spanish language and literature qualifications. My lessons will typically begin with 15 minutes of general conversation followed by exercise and more focused discussion depending on your needs! I am also available outside lesson time to provide book/film/article recommendations and answer any questions that you may think of :)
