I am a first class History graduate and winner of the prize for the best undergraduate History dissertation written by a DMU student in 2017. I am currently studying a Masters degree in Development Education and Global Learning at UCL's Institute of Education as well as PGCE with Goldsmiths.
I am in my fourth year working in the Education sector. I began as an SEN and Primary TA and quickly became an unqualified teacher. I have taught German at GCSE level. I also speak French and have taught this to Primary children as well as Spanish.
I now have my own Year 6 class. Planning is shared between myself and my mentor. I have planned and taught English which also covers SAT spelling, punctuation and grammar requirements. As well as this, I am now planning Maths lessons in order to help my class tackle SATs style questions.
I consistently plan CLJ which encompasses Geography, History, Art and Design. Another lesson that I plan and teach is philosophy for children.
I enjoy creating experiences for my students as much as I can in order to embed the learning.
