About Ross
I studied French, Spanish and Italian at university and achieved a first-class honours degree from Exeter University in 2022. Since then I have taught in France and tutored extensively, building up a wealth of experience in education. Outside my work as a tutor, I enjoy travelling and exploring new cultures. Through living in and visiting France, Spain and Italy, I have become fluent in those languages and am always looking to learn more!

I strongly believe that effective language learning requires repetition and practice. So my lessons tend to be reflective in style, as well as interactive. I have spent a lot of time in France, Spain and Italy (working in France and studying in Italy) which has helped me achieve fluency in the languages I teach. I can help students of all levels reach their goals, as I am very aware of the various stages of language learning. I have tutored students for university entrance, as well as younger students from six years of age upwards. Therefore, I offer a tailored learning experience and always appreciate the way that my students have different ways of learning. My lessons usually last one hour and always start the lesson with a refresher activity to reinforce material from the lesson before and build on understanding. Most importantly my lessons are interactive and I believe this is key to the language-learning experience.
