Hello! I'm Dasuni, a passionate, friendly, and highly qualified tutor with a proven academic background and real-world experience in both Mathematics and Information Technology. I hold a First Class Honors degree in Computer Science and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Information Technology in EIT Auckland. My approach to tutoring is student-centered, interactive, and goal-oriented. I believe every learner is unique, so I adapt my teaching style based on the student’s level, learning pace, and individual needs. Whether it’s breaking down complex maths problems or guiding students through IT concepts like programming or data analysis, I make sure each lesson is clear, engaging, and easy to follow.
I use real-world examples, visual aids, and step-by-step explanations to help students fully understand and apply what they’ve learned. I also focus on building confidence through practice and positive reinforcement.
Lessons typically run for one hour, but I’m flexible depending on the student’s preferences and goals.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with First Class Honours and am currently studying for my Master’s in Information Technology. I have years of experience tutoring both high school and university-level students in Mathematics and IT.
My lessons are ideal for secondary school students (NCEA, Cambridge, IB), first-year university students, or anyone looking to strengthen their understanding of Maths or IT topics.
