About Sinead
Having grown up in the North West I went to Oxford, where I studied English. I went on to complete my masters and doctorate there. During my graduate years I tutored extensively for A' level and GCSE, as well as teaching undergraduates. I was lucky enough to fall into a successful career as an academic after that, and I have been a fellow of a Cambridge College for the last twenty years, teaching undergraduates and graduates but also holding classes for A' level students and tutoring friends for A'level and for Oxbridge admissions. Having recently taken early retirement for reasons of poor health, I am now hoping to help students by tutoring again. Tutoring on-line suits me because I will be splitting my time between Cambridge, Runcorn, and Ireland in the future.

Sinéad tutored me at undergraduate level. She is enviably well-read, passionate about her subject, and skilled at tailoring her teaching to the individual needs of the student. I would recommend her highly to anyone who wants a deeper understanding of texts and context.
