About GIA
Hi, I’m Gia. I’m a passionate bookworm who has always loved teaching and working with children. I have a lot of experience from tutoring at Greek school and mentoring students, to taking part in a selective UCL initiative teaching English to disadvantaged women. Teaching makes me genuinely happy, and I love being creative and tailoring lessons to each student’s needs so they can learn in a way that works for them.

I prefer to offer fully tailored lessons, designing each session to meet the student’s individual learning style and needs. My lessons typically last 50 minutes, though I can extend them up to 2 hours if required. I focus on making the material engaging and accessible, combining explanation, discussion, and practice to build confidence and understanding. I achieved an A* and three As at A-Level from a top grammar school in London, and I have experience tutoring a range of students. While still at school, I tutored three A-Level students to prepare for their Sociology and English Literature exams. I’ve also worked with younger children aged 9–11, creating lessons that are both fun and educational. My goal is to support students at every level, from primary school to A-Level, helping them reach their full potential :)
