About Phoebe
I am a recent Durham University graduate with experience working with and tutoring young children. I particularly focus on up to GCSE level, as I enjoy working with younger children and helping build confidence at the early stages of learning. I am hoping to become a primary school teacher and so believe I have the patience to teach young children who lose their focus more easily.

I am happy to work on topics which students have identified difficulties with, or at GCSE level, to teach a full biology or maths topic.
Having learnt how to answer questions myself and tick boxes in exams, I hope I can share this with students. I really focus on building confidence by showing those who are just beginning GCSE courses that they are more than capable. I will cover key concepts, and then work through questions together with the student to put what has been learnt into practice so that questions don't seem to daunting.
I have found that working through questions with students is particularly necessary now as they often aren't getting this from teachers due to the current situation and online teaching.
