About Jackie
Hello!
My name is Jacqueline Fischer; I am a first-year Northeastern University student. I have four years of experience working with kids, whether through volunteering, heading two different clubs for tutoring underprivileged children and kids within the foster system or coming from a large family where tutoring younger siblings and relatives was an everyday occurrence. Through my experiences, I have been able to help those around me not only through basic knowledge but through a proper understanding of the subject. My main objective is for my students to be able to apply what they have learned on their own and to be able to use it in their day-to-day lives.

Through my lessons, I like to incorporate their homework, worksheets, and fun activities or experiences. To me, learning is what the student can take away from a lesson and apply it to their life on their own. As a current student in college, I have found different learning and study techniques that help with focus, understanding, and application. My lessons are more for a younger audience, as most of my tutoring experiences are with kids aged anywhere from 5 to 13.
