About Cormac
Ever since secondary school I've had an immense passion for science. I'm actively involved in scientific engagement nationally and through my university and through teaching, I hope I can provide students with the boost they may need to succeed in their studies. I am highly proficient in numerous areas of chemistry (e.g. organic chemistry, electrochemistry, green chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, biochemistry and inorganic chemistry).

• My lessons will last between 1-2 hours depending on the material being covered.
• My lessons are targeted towards Junior Cert science students and Leaving Cert chemistry & physics students.
• I have teaching experience through my "Science Society" in university, where I have offered peer mentoring to undergraduate students for the past year.
• I believe in engaging lessons, where I quiz students on the material throughout the lesson to be the most effective method for knowledge retention. I am willing to personalize my lessons to suit individual student needs. I don't believe in putting undue pressure on students, all I ask of them is to engage to the best of their ability when being taught. Condensed notes and sample answers can be provided to achieve the maximum marks in the exam.
