About William
Hi!
My name is William Strachan, and I am a physics undergraduate student at the University of Strathclyde. At school I attained four A*s in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths A-Levels. I have a passion for understanding how the world around me works, and passing on that understanding to my tutees. It is quite fitting that two of my main hobbies - following Formula 1 and climbing - directly rely on some of the concepts in physics you will be studying in school right now! As a tutor, I enjoy calling on these real-world examples (including how some of your own hobbies might depend on physics and mathematics) to help us understand laws of nature, and how we make use of them in everyday life.

Will provide lessons between 30 mins and 1 hour for online sessions and 1 hour for in person visits, lessons can cover Physics and/or Maths to the levels indicated in my ad title. I can instruct on exam technique, understanding concepts. I find scientific and mathematical concepts easiest to understand when you can see where they come from, or we have a good analogy to relate to - this is how I will teach or recap concepts that you find difficult.
I have previously tutored maths from early high school years to A-Level, and throughout university have been on placement in schools both to teach and assist teaching.
