1. The cellular components and their functions
2. Molecular functions of the cell and how that can be related to various human functions .
3. Basic pathophysiology of whose understanding clearly defines homeostasis.

Then most fundamentally, from the medical point of understanding, these would not just be theories because they can be related to real human life and how that knowledge relates health.
