About Ivy
I am currently in my final year studying maths at Warwick University. I grew up in Greece, but for my last four years at school I attended a British School and completed my IGCSEs (6A*,1A,1B,1C) and my A-levels (4A*,1A) including maths and further maths. I have been helping pupils with their maths queries for 4 years now and my tutorial experience includes preparation for Mathematics and Further Mathematics A-levels/GCSE/IGCSE and IB Mathematics (Standard and Higher level). I have mainly given private tutorials but I am very happy to offer group tutorials as well.

I would prepare for the lessons before-hand by making sure I know the content of the students' syllabuses and making a study plan, ie which chapters we need to cover at each lesson, compiling a set of exercises to do together/homework and looking through past papers to find good/challenging questions that would help the students feel comfortable with the format of the real exam and what to expect. As a tutor I am approachable, organised and patient. I explain concepts as simply as possible to make sure the students gain a good understanding before we move on to something new and use visual aids to make the lessons more enjoyable.
