About Sophia

My name is Sophia! I am a third-year Durham University student. I love tutoring students and helping each one of my students reach their true potential. Most importantly, making each lesson fun and engaging. I have two years of experience in helping to raise student grades.

About the lesson

I specialise in my ability to prepare students for GCSE and A-level exams in English literature and A-level. Lessons can be between one and two hours depending on the needs of the students. I analyse each student's abilities and create a specially tailored plan to match their style of learning!

Sophia was my tutor leading up to my GCSE exams, specifically in English Language. I have dyslexia, and Sophia was able to change the way she taught me to help me reach my potential. She was very understanding and always positive. I would recommend Sophia as a tutor to anyone needing extra English help.

Sophia is an amazing tutor, she has great patience, communication style and above all loves teaching English! She is creative in her approach and never fails so make her student comfortable! I would chose Sophia over other tutors due to the amount she cares about her students, she promotes improvement and understanding in all aspects of learning. The question is, why would you not want Sophia as your tutor?
