About Tharun
My name is Tharun, and I’m a final-year business management student at Lancaster University. I’m a passionate and motivated individual with a strong academic background in business and economics. As I completed my A-Levels just three years ago and winning the Social Sciences Prize in Business in 2021 and 2022, I understand the challenges students face and can connect with them on a personal level. I want to teach because I believe education is transformative, and I enjoy helping students unlock their potential by making complex topics simple and engaging. I’m dedicated to creating a professional, supportive, and inspiring environment for my students to succeed.

I adopt an interactive, student-centred approach to teaching, simplifying complex business and economics concepts through relatable, real-world examples. My lessons, typically 60-90 minutes long, incorporate discussions, quizzes, and case studies to encourage critical thinking and exam readiness. Having completed my A-Levels three years ago and winning the Social Sciences Prize in Business in both 2021 and 2022, I bring a strong academic foundation and a relatable perspective to my teaching. Proficient in using online tools like Zoom and interactive whiteboards, I deliver engaging lessons tailored to each student’s needs, ensuring their success in both exams and broader understanding.
