About Sarah
Hello everyone! My name is Sarah and I study Aerospace Engineering. I’m passionate about Physics and Maths and love helping students unlock their potential in these subjects. My teaching focuses on building real understanding rather than memorising methods, helping students improve their confidence, master difficult topics and achieve strong results in their exams.

Usually, the first lesson will include a test of some sort to see how the student is doing. This is so I can note down some weaker areas - in case the parent isn’t sure or if there are any additional areas, as becoming stronger in multiple areas is more effective than focusing on a few. Based off their learning style I offer either PowerPoints which we work through together with basic, harder and exam questions to build up their knowledge, or we do exam practice off the get-go - this depends on the student. I’ll help the students achieve their goals through repetition - at KS3, GCSE, and A level the best practice you can give is through exam questions and repeating questions they’ve struggled with in the past to see if they can now do this. As someone who used to lack confidence in their ability, another important point is helping to improve the students' confidence - they know more than they think, so my lessons will be tailored to help boost this.
