About Erin
I am a secondary school student from Ireland who is passionate about Irish music. I want to spread my knowledge with those who wish to learn. I am a Youth Officer in my local Comhaltas Branch so I have plenty of experience working with young people in this area. I have been playing the fiddle for over 10 years as well as an active participant in the Fleadh Ceoil. I am a member of an U18 ceili band and an U18 grupa ceoil. This year, I was a member of the All Ireland Winning Plearacha team. Teaching others is the next step in my journey!

Hi! I am running Fiddle classes for young people ages 12 and under (or if you are older but a beginner feel free to contact me either!). I will teach them how to play traditional Irish music on the fiddle. I can teach them with letter notes, by ear, or both. Whatever their preference is! I have been playing the fiddle for over 10 years and I am an active member of Comhaltas. I take part in ceili bands, grupa ceoils and solo competitions in the Fleadh. Typical lessons would be 30 mins long but this would depend on the number of people in a group (the maximum would be 3 people per group).

Perfect! Erin is so patient with my son. She explains everything so well to him. He is really enjoying his lessons with her.

I got to know Erin through Bru Ború comhaltas, Erin has a great attitude about teaching and is really understanding of each and every student. It was great to see Erin win her plearacha na nóg All Ireland this year after all her hard hours. Ever lesson my daughter has endured with her has been so beneficial and she is improving rapidly truly brilliant work.
Amazing! Erin really made me love the fiddle by being patient and understanding with me. She was always very thorough with her work and extremely professional. She always made me feel comfortable making it was easy to learn from her.
