About Rui
I am a final year Fashion Design and Development student at the University of the Arts London. I have more than 5 years of drawing and painting experience, and I am good at using various painting materials including gouache, watercolor, charcoal, and acrylic. I have taught students painting in an art studio and taught about 100 students. Their painting skills have been greatly improved, even the students with zero foundation have learned that they can draw what they want freely.

My lessons are for beginners and any art lovers that want to improve their painting skills. My lessons will teach you the fundamental understanding of drawing and painting. Begin by teaching you to draw from observing objects and you will learn how to express the structure, light, shadow on the paper and how to use line and color. It will teach you how to use different materials and tools to create artworks. The ultimate goal of this course is to let you express the world that is seen through your eyes freely with whatever painting material you like.
