About Marie
From a young age I was already convinced that teaching a foreign language to students would be my dream job. I have lived and breathed several languages during my life (having lived on 3 continents) and teaching French has brought me nothing but joy and fulfillment. Because I have a natural knack to communicate with people I can assure you that I am very passionate about my job and I feel very fortunate to help my students speak and master this beautiful and romantic language.

Because learning a language can be difficult and demanding at times I try to make my lessons fun and interesting for my students. My lessons usually consist of a mix of pronunciation, grammar, reading comprehension, vocabulary, songs, bingo games in French and much more. My students vary in all ages starting at age 5 and my oldest student is 80 years old. I have experience with students and also with adults. What sets me apart is that I am a European and have a profound connection with the French language and culture and I really love my job.
