I am a Biology tutor with over 4 years of experience and an MRes in Biology. My passion lies in guiding students through the fascinating world of neurobiology and the intricacies of the brain. I specialize in topics such as neural networks, synaptic plasticity, sensation, and perception, making complex concepts accessible and engaging. My teaching approach in Biology focuses on developing critical thinking and evidence-based reasoning. I guide students through complex topics like evolutionary biology, natural selection, speciation, and phylogenetics with clear explanations and real-life examples. I also integrate related subjects such as ecology and environmental biology to give a complete understanding of life’s systems.
I dedicate myself to helping students refine their knowledge and connect concepts across different branches of Biology. Food Chemistry and Green Chemistry are included where relevant, linking molecular processes to everyday life. Lessons are interactive, encouraging questions and discussions to deepen comprehension.
Assignments and exam preparation are tailored to strengthen understanding and boost confidence. I aim to make challenging topics manageable, ensuring students feel supported and motivated. By the end of our sessions, students can confidently discuss the grand narrative of life and its diversity.
