About Dinora
As a native Spanish speaker who has lived in the U.S. for nearly 30 years, I bring a deep understanding of both Spanish and American cultures, exactly what the AP Spanish test focuses on. This bicultural perspective helps me connect with students and explain complex concepts in ways that make Spanish easier, faster, and more interesting to learn. My background as a translator and certified interpreter lets me share real-world uses of Spanish that go far beyond textbooks. I’ve successfully helped students of all levels for the past 8 years. My approach centers on personalization and results. I offer a free diagnostic to identify strengths and challenges across key AP exam areas: interpersonal communication, presentational speaking/writing, interpretive reading/listening, and cultural comparisons. Then, I hold a free 20-minute consultation with the student and parent to set goals and discuss strategy. This method leads to consistent improvement and top test scores for my students. My sessions are ideal for high school students aiming for a 5 on the AP Spanish exam and for heritage speakers who need structure to refine their academic Spanish.
