About Allene
I am a dedicated computer programming tutor with over 6 years of teaching experience supporting GCSE, A-Level, and university students in achieving strong academic results and practical coding confidence. My background includes teaching a wide range of programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, and SQL, alongside core computer science subjects including algorithms, databases, object-oriented programming, and software development principles.
I focus on creating personalised lessons that match each student’s learning style, academic level, and long-term goals. My teaching approach combines clear explanations, practical coding exercises, debugging practice, and exam preparation to help students understand complex topics in a simple and engaging way.

My programming lessons are designed to help students build strong technical knowledge while gaining confidence in problem-solving and independent coding. I teach GCSE, A-Level, and university learners through structured sessions that combine theory with practical application. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s current ability, academic goals, and preferred learning pace.
I cover a wide range of topics including Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, object-oriented programming, algorithms, databases, data structures, and software development principles. Lessons focus on understanding concepts clearly rather than memorising syntax, allowing students to apply their skills in exams, coursework, and real-world programming tasks.
Students receive guided coding exercises, debugging practice, exam-style questions, and project-based learning to strengthen both technical accuracy and logical thinking. I also support assignment preparation, revision planning, and university-level coursework.
