About Sami
I have been tutoring for 11+ years and have experience with all major exam boards (AQA, OCR, Edexcel and iGCE). As a dedicated and committed tutor, I have guided many students through their GCSE exams, A-levels, and some University exams and would be excited and inspired to do the same for aspiring students. I focus primarily on confidence building; every student is capable if they just apply the correct principles and master the fundamentals. My style involves breaking down key lessons that students struggle with using realistic/visual examples that help illustrate the concept, and by getting them to explain their understanding of what they've learnt to each other to further engrave their understanding of the topic.

I am somebody who just LOVES teaching and am so incredibly passionate about helping students achieve their absolute potential. I am a full-time science teacher and online tutor, and am the creator of a successful online educational science platform, with over 100k users all around the world. I specialise in all three sciences up to GCSE, and can also teach A-Level chemistry. Sami is an excellent tutor who completely took my son (who also has SEN) under his ‘revision’ wing. My son says he’s extremely clear, good at adapting to the the student he has and created clear and logical revision plans for my son to follow. All round passionate teacher who goes beyond the subject in order to the support the well being and success of the individual child.
Sami tutored my daughter in GCSE Chemistry. His enthusiastic and down to earth approach to teaching not only ensured she understood concepts but was confident in tackling homework set. Regular feedback, access to past papers and working on weaknesses I believe contributed to not only her successfully obtaining a high GCSE grade but being offered a space at a grammar school to study Chemistry at A Level.
As a parent it can often be a daunting task deciding which tutor to select. I can confidently recommend Sami to any other parent.We have been delighted with the way Sami has worked with our son. Chemistry was his least favourite subject but we have just received his GCSE results and he got a high 8. From our experience, what I would say about Sami is that he works with the whole child, building up their confidence in their ability to do a subject rather than just spoon-feeding. Sami was also excellent at communicating with us so we always knew when lessons were and how our son was getting on.
