About Tristan
I’ve always been someone who loves to stay balanced. Back in high school at Seycove, I was the student who wanted to do it all—from diving deep into every science course to playing every sport available and performing in all the choirs. That same energy follows me today; whether I’m building websites, exploring the intersections of math and computer science, or staying active outdoors, I believe that having a variety of interests makes me a better, more relatable teacher. When I’m not tutoring, you’ll likely find me outside or being active. I’m a huge fan of sports like badminton, soccer, volleyball, and rock climbing, and I head to the mountains for snowboarding whenever I can. For my own mental health and focus, I prioritize time in nature—whether that’s doing yoga, meditating, or even dancing by the river. I also love a good gaming session in Minecraft or Rocket League. I bring this same "whole-person" approach to my tutoring. I understand the pressure of balancing academics with a busy life, and I use my diverse background to help my students find their own balance while reaching their goals. I’m here to be a professional, reliable, and friendly mentor who understands exactly what you're going through.
