About Omar
I’ve always believed that Maths doesn’t have to be intimidating — with the right approach, anyone can succeed at it. Over the past 10 years, I’ve helped students of all ages turn confusion into clarity and frustration into confidence. I hold a DBS certificate and have worked with learners from primary through to A-Level, supporting them through every stage of their academic journey. My background has given me a strong understanding of how to adapt my teaching to different learning styles, personalities, and goals. What drives me most is seeing students start to enjoy the subject — not just pass their exams, but actually feel proud of what they can achieve. I aim to make every lesson engaging, encouraging, and focused on progress that lasts well beyond the classroom.

With over 10 years of tutoring experience, I help GCSE and A-Level Maths students excel across all major exam boards — Edexcel, AQA, OCR, and Cambridge (CAIE). My lessons are designed to make Maths clear, logical, and enjoyable while building the confidence needed to tackle even the most challenging questions. Each session is fully personalised to the student’s needs — whether the goal is to boost grades, strengthen weak areas, or achieve top marks in final exams. I use a calm, structured approach that breaks down complex ideas into simple, understandable steps. Lessons combine clear explanations, guided practice, and plenty of exam-style questions to develop both understanding and technique. I also focus on improving exam speed, accuracy, and time management — key skills that make a real difference under pressure. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and delivered online using an interactive whiteboard and digital resources for maximum engagement. I hold a valid DBS certificate, and I teach students from Year 6 to Year 13. My aim is to help every student not only improve their grades but also feel genuinely confident in their Maths ability.
