After just a couple of lessons with Alex, there's already a solid amount I've learnt. From being taught a much more economical gallop technique to tightening my alternate and sweep picking, he's helped me a lot and given me many tips that would have taken me a while to figure out on my own. Alex is a very competent guitar tutor, he had the patience to teach me (a complete novice), great teaching style and really breaks things down so that you can understand it fully, his ‘work on these at home’ challenges are great! A no brainer for me if you want to learn to play.

As an intermediate guitar player I was working with Alex for 3 months and over that time he showed me alternative ways to improve on my technique, stamina, and tips and tricks for song writing. He showed me different scales and how to improvise on them, and various methods to warm up on guitar.
