About Maeve
I am a singing tutor with over 5 years of experience working with students of all levels. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Music Production (Vocal Engineering). This helps me bring technical knowledge into creative lessons. I love working with singer-songwriters who want to write original music. Lyric writing, melodic building, and vocal phrasing are areas we focus on. I also encourage students to learn piano or guitar basics for self-accompaniment. Beyond songwriting, I emphasize ear training, harmony, improvisation, and theory. These skills give students the confidence to explore music independently. I always prioritize safe vocal techniques that protect and strengthen the voice. Confidence is built gradually in a supportive environment. My lessons are interactive, encouraging, and adaptable. I work with school students, college learners, and adult professionals. Together, we can discover and shape your authentic musical voice.

I teach singing in a way that combines skill, artistry, and confidence. Technique forms the base of my lessons—breath, pitch, and healthy vocal habits. Beyond that, I focus strongly on audition preparation. Students learn to select repertoire that suits their voice and the audition’s demands. We also practice stage presence, from movement to emotional expression. Performance anxiety is managed through gentle, effective exercises. Each student’s journey is personal, so my lessons are always tailored. Adult beginners are guided with patience and encouragement to build confidence early. Advanced teens are challenged to refine every detail and perform under pressure. My teaching is structured but flexible. I believe every voice has its own story to tell. My role is to nurture that individuality and prepare students to share it with others. Lessons balance discipline with creativity. Together, we will build your confidence for auditions and beyond.
