About Giana
I have been teaching English for about 30 years. Some of my students have now graduated and teach English in Italy, others have gone on to use their knowledge in medicine, sales, communications. I've also helped prepare a few Italians sit and pass IELTS for an Australian sponsored visa or to go to international universities. I have taught for various teaching bodies, Cà Foscari University - Venice - Italy, The Italian Education board, various HR companies, SMEs in the Veneto region. I have also worked as an interpreter on various projects: Jaguar, Binz and Volvo special cars. I have a wide range of students from babies to people in their 70s. So, I think I can help you.

Your needs are what's important. I always work around your aims and abilities so you get exactly what you came to me for. Usually there's always a 5 minute warm up in the form of a game or something fun just to break the ice, then checking what you picked up from the previous session. This could be anything from completing sentences, conversations. There's usually a listening or reading comprehension. If you like music that's what I'll work into it. Basically it's about learning and not feeling stressed, if you're happy you'll keep coming back, if not I know I didn't really listen to you. All my students have fun and learn something more than just speaking or writing in English.
