As a tutor, I focus on building confidence, clarity, and independent thinking. My sessions are student-centred and structured to meet individual needs—whether that’s mastering essay structure, unpacking complex texts, or refining exam technique. I use guided analysis, interactive questioning, and scaffolded writing tasks to help students deepen their understanding of English Literature and express their ideas with confidence.
A typical lesson runs for 60 minutes, allowing time for explanation, practice, and feedback. I also provide optional resources and tips for study between sessions to keep momentum going.
I hold a Law degree (LLB) and have strong academic writing, research, and communication skills. I’ve previously won a university-level mooting competition, led workshops, and worked in legal and HR advisory roles that require clear, persuasive communication—skills that transfer directly into effective tutoring.
My lessons are ideal for high school students in Years 10 to 12, especially those preparing for HSC or VCE English or anyone wanting to improve their analytical and essay writing skills. I work well with students who may be underconfident, helping them break down barriers and achieve their academic goals.
