About Hazel
My teaching approach is centred on clear communication and creativity. I believe that Economics becomes easier to understand when ideas are explained simply and connected to real-life examples. I use engaging discussions, case studies, and visual aids to make concepts like supply and demand, inflation, and market policies easy to grasp. This approach helps students see the practical side of Economics and keeps learning interesting. I create a supportive and honest learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their thoughts. I focus on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, ensuring that students not only memorise concepts but also truly understand them. Confidence and clarity are key goals in every lesson. Along with Economics, I can also teach related subjects to strengthen overall understanding. My goal is to help students grow academically, gain practical knowledge, and develop a lifelong interest in learning.

With over 9 years of experience, I specialise in teaching Economics to college students, focusing on both Micro and Macro Economics. I help students understand complex theories and connect them to real-world situations, such as markets, policies, and global economic trends. My aim is to make Economics practical, interesting, and easy to grasp. My teaching style is interactive and student-centred. I use real-life examples, case studies, and visual aids to explain difficult concepts. I encourage questions and discussions so students can think critically and understand the subject deeply, building both knowledge and confidence. I also use innovative methods like problem-solving exercises, data analysis, and scenario-based learning to make lessons engaging and applicable. Each session is personalised to match the student’s pace and goals, ensuring steady progress and a strong understanding of Economics.
