About Cynthia
I am a dedicated chemistry tutor with over 6 years of experience helping students across a wide range of levels, from primary school to GCSE, A-Level, and first-year college. Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with students of different abilities, helping them improve their understanding, boost their confidence, and achieve their academic goals.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and results-focused. I believe that every student can succeed in chemistry with the right guidance and clear explanations. Lessons are personalised to match each student’s goals, whether that’s improving grades, preparing for exams, or gaining confidence in difficult topics like organic chemistry, calculations, or chemical bonding. I break down complex ideas into simple, easy-to-understand steps and use real-life examples to make learning more relatable.
Each session includes clear explanations, guided practice, and targeted feedback. I also provide revision strategies, past paper support, and tips on how to approach exam questions effectively.
My aim is to make chemistry less intimidating and more logical helping students not just memorise content, but truly understand it and apply it with confidence.
