I am equipped to teach students in high school and university undergrad programs.
Sociological theory and practice can be incredibly confusing; occasionally we come across theories that are beyond anything we've ever thought of before and can seem out of our grasp. No fear! I have extensive experience breaking down theories and concepts to a level that even non-sociologists can understand.
By breaking down the moving parts, translating them into a language that the student understands, combining 'real-life' examples with examples of what the material is NOT, are only some of the steps helpful for students to elucidate a holistic and precise understanding of the material. Further, this is all completed without diluting the information or de-contextualizing the subject matter.
This method exceeds simply understanding the material at hand as my students walk away with the ability to apply the conceptual breakdown methods to their future work, beyond the discipline of sociology.
